Accommodation Details
The hostel operates 2 common dining areas and a communal kitchen for guests. Tea and coffee is available in the kitchen and internet access is available for a small charge.
*** Please note a maximum of 14 nights is possible per booking and 30 days must pass after client's stay before a revisit or 2nd booking is possible. A minimum of 18 years is applicable for all guests staying at the hostel and a valid passport is the only form of ID accepted at the time of check in ***

Room Information
The rooms within the hostel are basic but comfortable, with shared bathrooms located on each floor. All dorms are single sex. Please note: This hostel may not be suited to all travelers due to a lot of stairs to get to your rooms and the reception areas.
In peak times please note also that a twin room can be given instead of a double room.

The Chelsea is in the Manhattan area, between 7th and 8th Avenues on 20th Street, close to Mid Town and Greenwich Village.

By Public Transport -
From Port Authority (Bus Station): Take "A" train to 23rd street stop and walk south 3 blocks. Make a left onto 20th street.
From La Guardia Airport: Take the Carey Bus to Penn. Station ($10.00). Follow directions from Penn. Station Below.
Take the Q33 Bus to Last Stop, Take "E" Train to 23rd Street, walk to 20th street, Left turn, house # 251.($3.00 ea.)
From Penn Station: (AMTRAK Train): Walk down 8th Avenue to 20th Street turn left, House Number 251 (8 minutes), Reception area on first floor
By Car -
Taxis from the airport to the hotel cost around $45.00.
