Naples City Centre
The old district of Naples, where you'll see the more typical sights of this city. The quarter has survived many blazes, air raids and earthquakes, and the best of all is that it has not lost its picturesque ambient. There are many fascinating places here.

Sorrento
It has a pretty old town, a harbour with ferry departures to Capri, Amalfi and Naples, and is within easy reach of the Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Herculaneum and the city of Naples.

About Naples
Set around the beautiful bay of Naples and lying in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, Naples is the third-largest city in Italy and capital of the south. One of Europe's most densely populated cities. Getting There
Capodichino airport, about 8km north-east of the city centre, is southern Italy's main airport.
To the city centre from outside the airport arrivals area, there are two possibilities:
-ANM bus No 14 (EUR 0.65, 30 minutes, every 15 minutes) to Piazza Garibaldi.
-CLP's airport bus (EUR 1.55, 20 minutes, at least hourly) to Piazza Municipio.
Taxi - A taxi will cost you about EUR 21. Make sure the meter has been activated.
Getting Around
The centre of Naples is worth seeing on foot; though take a pair of comfortable shoes with you!
If you want to use the public transport, you can buy a daily tourist ticket is good value at EUR 2.35. These tickets are not valid to Pompeii or Ercolano.
